Review Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 59393211 Notebook

Quiet and strong. Lenovo furnishes a 17.3 inch casing with a Haswell Core i5 processor and a GeForce GPU, and sells the bundle for just under 700 Euros. The installed components suggest a powerful, all-round laptop. Our test report reveals whether this...

Excellent! Except for the charger port...

I would definitely recommend this laptop, but I suggest you don't charge it while you use it lest it get bumped and then not charge. I had to send it back to Lenovo under their warranty, and Newegg is going to be doing it *again* under their extended...

-Fast -sleek design -bright screen -NVIDIA Optimus technology - Backlit keyboard

-Windows pre-installed (replaced mine w/ Linux) -Charge port is very sensitive, and unforgiving if you bump it too hard- I'm on my second repair and I'm VERY careful

Great except battery issues

Screen, graphics, speed, I enjoyed most everything about this laptop, and still do (when plugged in)

Viewing angles aren't the best, sometimes the graphics card doesn't kick in, if the software (game) doesn't require it, so you have to force it ; I started having the "unauthorized battery" issue, that is on many Lenovo forums. It's the stock battery,...

Piece of crapola

I'll write one when I find one

my Dell Studio finally crapped out and I needed a laptop for my new business. I researched a lot and found this...refurbished. I bought the Dell refurbished and it lasted 7 years...and the only thing that's failed, and not worth fixing, is the power...

Lenovo Fail.

I purchase for a small business of ~120 people and I also consult and I used to recommend Lenovo devices as they were high quality at great prices but this one failure and the tech support after finished that for me. Like all companies I generally rate...

Great Specs

Terrible device. Graphics issues, wifi isues, driver issues abound. I have purchased Lenovo for years and never received a worse device. Tech support zero help. Advised to reset device and reinstall everything. After doing so (For second time as this...

Good laptop, but issues

Laptop came as specced, powerful, nice screen, maybe 2-3 hours use unplugged

Probably NOT good for gaming, graphics card a little weak ; Biggest problems were returning first for battery problem (would not charge). Then they sent an inadequate power supply (65 watts when it need 135 watts). The 135 watt power supply is hard to...

Refurbished PowerColer AXR7 250

This laptop has ran great even being refurbished. The only hiccup I ran into it was the battery. When I first turned it on, Lenovo's "Energy Manager" software was stating my battery was unauthorized and I had to replace it with a official Lenovo...

Clean design, back-lit keyboard, not a ton of bloatware (but some), two display adapters, blu-ray drive, clean screen, webcam, forward facing speakers that are decent sounding

Little bigger than current/next generation laptops, but still portable, plastic around the keyboard, the the lid is aluminum, headphone jack is on the right side (where you would have a mouse possibly) prefer to have headphone jacks either in the front...
