Lenovo ThinkPad E520 review

Dedicated graphics cards are the exception, rather than the rule, for most business laptops. Tom Morgan goes hands on with Lenovo's latest ThinkPad Edge, to see if its AMD Radeon GPU is a perfect accompaniment, or more of a third wheel.

The dedicated graphics card adds to its price and won’t be necessary for a lot of people, but the ThinkPad Edge E520 is still a very well-rounded laptop that costs less than you might think for its specification.

Fantastic!

We use Lenovo for a lot of our laptops and they perform very well, This laptop was no exception. We purchased this, took out the slow HDD and dropped in a SSD and this thing FLYS! Can't go wrong with this one!

Not so good

Buy something else.

Worked for four months

Died after four months, won't power on. Looking around the web I read stories about bad configuration memory. Wife not happy. Not worth the hassle to get "fixed", trash canned it after removing the hd and memory - no more Lenovo for me

This is no laptop for the average consumer, this is a Bussines class model, no frills no extended features, it's plain, simple and durable it's a laptop for grown ups. Also I suggest to order an additional 4gb DDR 1333 module for Dual channel 8GB RAM....
