Review Lenovo ThinkPad L430 Notebook

Worker of the Month. The Lenovo ThinkPad L430 is a true office notebook. Lenovo has paid special attention to making this model practical and giving it clever extras. So do these make everyday office work easier, or is a coffee machine the better...

Very good input devices, Docking port, Quiet, Low power consumption, Keyboard, touchpad and Trackpoint have a clever design and are easy-to-use. The low noise emissions are a delight as is the low power consumption

Weak viewing angles, A few hot spots, HDMI provided by an adapter, Despite having a mini DisplayPort, we would have liked to see a HDMI output as well

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Worst thinkpad EVER.

If you're the paranoid type, you can opt out of a webcam on the lenovo website. Also, you can actually *use* it, but don't expect the normal range of Thinkpad features

This really shouldn't be called a Thinkpad, tm-smapi does not work at all, the trackpoint doesn't work, the SD card reader doesn't work, and I'm sure HDAPS is unavailable for this model. Basically, if you use Linux, Lenovo has taken your money and said...
