Review: Lenovo ThinkPad T410s

No laptop is completely perfect, but this ThinkPad comes awfully close.

A multiple record-breaker: Top performance and brightest screen among all laptops we’ve seen. Very slim and extremely lightweight. Rock-solid ThinkPad keyboard with well-thought-out controls. Love the textured touchpad. Sturdy as a granite pillar...

Battery life needs a serious boost. Expensive. No HDMI connector

Lenovo ThinkPad T410s

The Lenovo ThinkPad T410s is hands down the lightest 14-inch business laptop in the market.

Lightest in its class. Exquisitely thin. Modular optical drive included. High screen resolution. Tough as nails. Phenomenal typing experience. Endowed with every wireless technology

FireWire and extra card slot were concessions that had to be made. Larger battery options not available.

Review Lenovo ThinkPad T410s Notebook (Optimus)

Two for one. Innovations don't even stop before the T410s. In this review, we'll devote ourselves to the Optimus upgrade and report about its impact in detail. Can the slim 14 incher benefit from the dual GPU solution?

Very good application performance, Input devices, Matt, fairly bright display, Good communication configuration, Docking Port, Optimus technology for good battery life under low load, The excellent application performance due to SSD

Contrast poor display with standard color spectrum, Practically no supplies, The display could have a slightly higher contrast and at least come closer to covering the sRGB

Review Lenovo Thinkpad T410s Notebook

Slim Fast. Intel's new developments haven't stopped for the 14.1

Excellent application performance; Touchscreen; Input Devices; Matte, comparably bright screen; Communication features; Docking Port

Virtually no accessories (not even a stylus); Black value, contrast, and illumination of the screen

The extremely good application performance, to which the SSD contributes significantly, and the relatively good and comprehensive communications features.

Lenovo ThinkPad T410s Review

The Lenovo ThinkPad T410s is a refresh of the older T400s, adding the latest Intel Core i5 processors and optional NVIDIA switchable graphics. The T410s is a slimmed down version of the standard 14-inch T-series notebook, with a much thinner body. We...

Good design and great build quality ; Faster processor selections ; Optional switchable graphics and multi-touch LCD

Poor screen contrast ; Limited battery life ; The Lenovo ThinkPad T410s is a good thin and lightweight business notebook for people who want a full-size notebook without the full-size bulk.

There are still those who to this day swear that Lenovo's acquisition of the brand was the beginning of a death spiral, but the truth is that ThinkPads continue to thrive. Lenovo recently celebrated the 60 millionth ThinkPad sold, and to commemorate...

REVIEW: Lenovo T410s

Lenovo plays to this market well and its laptops are often well specified with a no-nonsense physical design. At the higher end of the Lenovo range, laptops such as the T410s are equipped with go-faster features and management utilities. But that...

The Lenovo T410s is an impressive laptop as long as it remains tethered to mains power. It may not be ideal for you if you need long life away from mains power, but for the occasional out of office client meeting or stint working on the train it may be...
