I've ordered at least a half a dozen of this exact model over the last 3 months.

Contrary to the other review, I've not had a problem getting with getting to point of factory restoration with its pre-installed Windows 7 Pro. You can create recovery disks if you wish, which are for Windows 7 Pro. This laptop also ships with Windows...

another nice laptop

 

came with win7 pro installed, but only disc that came with unit is for windows 8- so you have to create a backup/restore disk.

solid build, red most button in middle of keyboard, smells nice (really, that new computer smell filled my house). port for docking bay

bloatware- I'm disappointed that Lenovo (IBM) adds so much gunk to the computer, expect to spend about an hour removing the added software (not including the time to install all updates); and I had to uninstall Norton twice

Lenovo Does Not Support Customers

 

Do not purchase from Lenovo unless you have strong internal hardware support staff and a dedicated person to manage communications with Lenovo. If you have issues with CS, press to speak with supervising staff and express concern with their process....

Offers useful connectivity possibilities that are not always available on newer machines, helpful for those who use legacy software or components. Nice screen

Lenovo Customer Support, particularly on the sales side, is grossly inefficient. None of the people you talk to when calling them with issues has real authority to help you. This can be very frustrating if you are an individual or a small business....

Lenovo ThinkPad T530 2359

 

Using a T530 to type this. I've upgraded the hard drive to an SSD and with Windows 8 on its lightning fast. Well built, speakers not too bad, scrabble keyboard which I've got used to.

Good laptop but very SLOW Boot time

 

The T530 is a solid laptop. I bought the i7-3720QM CPU @2.60GHz, 4gb RAM, 320 HDD, windows 7. Immediately added a 8gb ram stick, so I have 12 gb.

System Boards Failed Twice

 

Within two weeks the system board failed. So, I had it repaired and 8 days later the replacement part failed. Now I am without an operating computer as it is at Lenovo's facility being repaired.
