Does this snazzy new ThinkPad stand out without the standard ThinkPad keyboard and TrackPoint?

 

Is a ThinkPad still a ThinkPad without the traditional keyboard and TrackPoint? And does it matter?

Beautiful design ; Excellent webcam ; Pretty display ; Thunderbolt ports on both sides

Performance isn’t great (in this configuration) ; Battery life lags behind Apple and Qualcomm alternatives-

Despite ditching the traditional ThinkPad input devices, there’s a lot to like about the X9’s design. But battery life and performance don’t help this pretty business machine stand out.
