Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m 9450 (Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz review: Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m 9450 (Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz

Sturdy design; decent battery life; wide-aspect display with sharp resolution; comfortable full-size keyboard; integrated fingerprint reader, DVD burner, and Webcam; WWAN available as an option.

Slightly heavy with titanium lid; merely mediocre performance despite Core 2 Duo processor; comes with only a one-year warranty.

The attractive Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m won't win any speed races, but this relatively affordable midsize laptop serves up a great set of features and strong battery life in a well-designed case.

This expensive business notebook nicely combines power, features, and comfort.

Comfortable keyboard

Staid design

The Z61m has a good balance of features, comfort, processing power, and battery life.

Refreshed with a dual-core CPU, the Lenovo ThinkPad Z61m increases its power and speed.

More powerful than its predecessor. Integrated EVDO. Built-in webcam.

Stressful on the shoulders.
