Lenovo Yoga Book C930 Review: An expensive experiment

The Yoga Book C930 is an engineering marvel, and swapping its keys for an e-ink display is groundbreaking. But the addition of a drawing pad and (limited) e-reader functionality don't necessarily make up for a weaker typing experience. If you can touch...

Solid build quality ; Good battery life ; Keyboard is fine for short bursts of typing ; Flexibility for drawing and e-reading is good for trips

Sluggish performance ; Bezel-heavy design showing its age in 2018 ; Touchscreen keyboard isn't great for hammering out long documents

It's a truth universally acknowledged that companies will charge inflated prices for new technology. Sometimes it's for prestige, and sometimes it's just to make back all that R&D cash. That doesn't mean I can't rail against the industry expecting...

This is the best Windows two-in-one -- if you can afford it

Lenovo fine-tuned its formula for the Yoga C930, adding a trio of useful features that make this premium laptop tough to beat.

Lenovo's Yoga C930 puts its 360-degree hinges to work as the two-in-one's speaker system. The included active pen is discreetly housed and charged in the C930's body and its webcam has a physical slider to block it when not in use. Performance and...

The included pen is a little small for extended use and there's no option for discrete graphics, but no real deal breakers unless you object to its price.

Excellent performance and a stylish and functional design make the Lenovo Yoga C930 simply one of the best two-in-one laptops available.

The half-E Ink Lenovo Yoga Book C930 may be the most unusual laptop of the year

With one standard display and a second E Ink one with an on-screen keyboard, this slim folding 2-in-1 takes a little getting used to.

The revamped Yoga Book improves on the original version, with a better typing experience and more powerful hardware. The small size is great for travelling.

Using an E Ink keyboard and touchpad full time is never going to be as good as the real thing. The E Ink second screen bizarrely can't read Kindle e-books. Battery life is short for a highly portable laptop.

The Yoga Book C930 is an adventurous, risk-taking laptop that skirts the conventional thinking on portable computers. The result is interesting, sometimes fun, but often frustrating.

Lenovo Yoga Book C930 review: two screens and lots of compromises

Easy to love, hard to live with.

Thin and light ; Fast enough processor ; Full Windows 10 ; USB-C

E Ink screen software is slow and buggy ; Not comfortable for long typing sessions ; No headphone jack ; Too expensive

For a thousand bucks, though, there are much better and more versatile options. They won’t wow strangers at a coffee shop, but they will let you get your work done without getting in your way.

The Lenovo Yoga C930 Review: Atmos Acoustics

Back when laptops were just finding their way into the new world of touch, Lenovo's Yoga design ended up inspiring the industry, and Lenovo has moved their 360° hinge across their lineup, from laptops starting at $199.99, all the way to their ThinkPad...

Lenovo has added a lot of features to this notebook, including two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 connections, 160 MHz wireless in the Intel 9260 chipset, and up to a whopping two terabytes of NVMe storage. There’s a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello...

Lenovo Yoga Book C930 Review

The touch activated dual-display Yoga Book C930 is a “one a kind” computing device that cannot be categorized under any existing market segment...

High-end build quality, beautifully designed ; Ultra-thin and ultra-compact clamshell chassis, excellent for traveling ; Great Full Windows 10 performance for such a tiny clamshell form factor ; Two USB-C ports with charging ; Fantastic handwriting and...

Slow charging (2 hours) ; No audio jack ; More RAM would be better ; Keyboard is fine for short burst of typing, not great for long sessions ; Lack of popular ebook formats (only PDF support for now, no Mobi and EPUB support)

Lenovo Yoga C930 review: Flagship 2-in-1 flirts with greatness Review | ZDNet

The 13.9-inch Yoga C930 ticks most of the boxes for an ultraportable 2-in-1 convertible. This is a good laptop that's just shy of being a great one.

Solid chassis ; Great speakers ; Good battery life ; A stylus housing that works

Minimal ports and connectors ; Screen could be more vibrant

Lenovo's Dual-Screen Yoga Book Is Painfully Close to a Breakthrough

Laptops haven't changed much since 2012. Sure, they're a bit sleeker, more powerful, and have slightly better battery lives. But after Microsoft conjured up the original Surface with its kickstand and detachable keyboard in 2012, it's largely been five...

Gorgeous, minimalist design, built-in fingerprint reader, much more powerful than before.
