LG XNOTE P310

The LG XNOTE P310 lacks in some departments, but in general it's a pretty good bargain.

It depends what the author think about when he mention "avid gamer". Is that a) someone that only wants to play games "like it was ment to be..." or b) someone that just wants to game whenever wherever if time and place allows (twisting thumb counted...

Agree with GPU??? This is best of class. Author needs to read around more...

You knock the GPU, but its by far the best gpu to appear in a laptop of this form factor. Show me a single 13" monitor with a better card. And this is your major complaint.... seems a little unfair.
