MSI EX620 series

Built for entertainment but is it a class act?

Though you’ll need to pay slightly more to take the MSI EX620 home, you get your money's worth in terms of features and slightly better specs and performance.

MSI - EX620

The EX620 is the latest addition to MSI's Entertainment Series of notebooks and features a 16-inch widescreen display, Core 2 Duo processor, discrete ATI graphics and a host of other goodies for your multimedia pleasure. A ...

MSI's EX620 is a nicely designed notebook, stuffed full of multimedia features with a very keen price tag. It has all the performance you'll need for everyday use, but it is let down somewhat by its keyboard.

I bought this prior to the rebate so I haven't had any issues with that.

I purchased this in June, 2009 and have been very pleased with it so far. It is very fast and downlaods and displays even very graphic intensive web pages very quickly. The display quality and clarity is excellent. It hooks up very easily to an HDTV...

Vista is obviously an issue but I don't think you can blame the machine for that. Wait six months and switch to Windows 7. The mouse touchpad is very poor. I disabled it and use a mouse with no issues. The documentation you receive with it is not very...

Update Review

I give 5 eggs to the laptop, but MSI gets a -1 egg. I submitted my rebate with everything they requested, and all the site says is that my rebate is till in its first stage (I submitted it on July 10th so I know). That aside, there is another problem...

Same as my previous review

Great budget notebook

Buy it. You can not find another laptop at this price range with this kind of hardware.

Very nice, large screen. Surprisingly quick but I expected this with the hardware. I have not noticed any keypad flex or sponginess like others have stated. I love the touch keys at the top of the keyboard. They give you numerous settings for battery...

Great so far!

Linux Compatibility: Great! Sleep works. Wireless works; you need the rt2860sta module which you have to download from the ralinktech website. The brightness controls bypass the OS. The touch-keys at the top also work; the multimedia keys send the...

Not much to say really, I'm very happy with it. It performs as expected based on the system specs. The bad things below are pretty nit-picky. It's a really great price-point for a laptop with dedicated video. The screen is awesome and bright

This is definitely a plastic laptop, it *feels* plastic (if that makes sense); the seams don't always meet up perfectly; the wavy lines look decal-ish and a little silly. The keyboard is a little sponge-y. Neither of those complaints really matter ; It...
