Discount-Gamer. A lot of performance for little dough. For 800 Euro there is the surprisingly strong ATI HD5730 (GDDR3), the i5-430M processor and an endless number of connections. Whether or not MSI improves on the much faulted quality of its case...

Power for gaming, Fast processor, Cool during office and 3D duties, Limits current consumption with Intel graphics, Bass sound in games, MSI invested in the right graphic cords and didn't ignore such soft factors like emissions and cooling

Poor workmanship, Rattly keys, Limited viewing angle, Little constrast, Slight whilstling under load, The gamer should at least have been offered a solid sitting input field

Small issues, but exceptional system.

 

This is the 8th MSI laptop I've bought for myself or my clients in the past year. They're a fantastic deal with their 3 year warranty. Compared to the next step up, you have plastic instead of metal for the lid and palmrest, but you gain a subwoofer...

see the purepc.pl review for a more thorough review. the ati 5730 is not the biggest beast on the block, but the screen size and resolution work well with it. dx11 is the future, but few games take advantage of it today. the i5 is really all you need...

Nice Laptop, poor viewing angles

 

if I could go back to Friday when I placed my order I wished I had waited for this week to see the other deals that came out, darn newegg return policy!

good processing capabilities, used the Unreal Engine 3 UDK for a little bit and it ran nicely

poor viewing angles, smaller hdd compared to other systems at this price, found a lenovo on sale yesterday for 949 after a mothers day coupon with a 500gb hdd, same video card, and an i7 processor
