For less than £500, it's now quite possible to find a fully featured, full-size laptop. We tried the MSI VR630, a 16in display model with 2GHz processor and 250GB of storage. And at less than 2.5kg, it shouldn't break your shoulder either.

If I could rate Newegg customer service I would give it a "0" for extremely poor service, but I'm rating the product here. Great laptop overall. I am dual-booting Vista and Ubuntu. Works great using both OSes out of the box. Also, on the right side...

Nice look and sleek design. Touchpad can be disabled so it doesn't get in the way of your typing. Did I mention shiny? Speakers are pretty good, not super impressive. Fairly strong magnets keep the laptop closed, so no poorly designed latch to break....

Maybe a cooler would help this computer?

1. Great sound with Subwoofer, not like Bose though ; 2. Touch enabled controls ; 3. Nice software for Web Cam and Tv Tuner with Windows Media Center

I purchased two of these and I just noticed that the sticker on the bottom that reads Warranty Void If Seal Broken. Well both seals are cut down the center. If anyone else has this problem better get in touch with newegg & MSI.
