MSI PX600 Prestige Collection Notebook

Don't be fooled by the "Prestige" label on this otherwise unremarkable laptop.

Comes with lots of shiny accessories, Leather top, Good PCMark performance

Inconsistent design, Average graphics, Average battery life

MSI PX600 notebook

The MSI PX600 is a 15.4in laptop with a leather-bound lid and a good CPU

Looks good, genuine leather-bound lid, fast processor, fast hard drive, eSATA port, HDMI port

Keyboard is spongy, notebook is heavy

The MSI PX600 notebook has an attractive design and powerful components. It also has plenty of ports, such as eSATA and HDMI. We weren't particularly pleased with its keyboard, however.

MSI PX600 Prestige Collection Notebook

Don't be fooled by the "Prestige" label on this otherwise unremarkable laptop.

Comes with lots of shiny accessories ; Leather top ; Good PCMark performance

Inconsistent design ; Average graphics ; Average battery life

It's no shock that MSI prices a notebook that it claims as prestigious appropriately — if it were cheap, you'd get suspicious — but at the same time, we can't help feeling that for the AU$2,019 asking price, this is pretty poor value.

First Look: MSI PX600 Prestige laptop, with leather and chrome styling

MSI's Prestige laptop comes with a whole bunch of goodies: how does a wireless mouse, 4GB USB key, leather carrybag and leather stitched lid sound, for starters? And that's before you look under the lid.
