Review Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65 Notebook

Second League? Packard Bell wants to principally score by those c

Good full-sized keyboard; Unobtrusive operating noise; Good workmanship; Good sound in state of delivery

Quite warm under load; Average display; A lot of bloatware

If you're looking for an unusual design, you should turn to Asus' UX50V, where you can also switch graphic cards. If you want something with an even lower price, you could take Acer's Extensa 5230. For more power, it possible to simply choose another...

Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65-AU-031UK - 15.6in Laptop

Looking for an all-round laptop that doesn't break the bank? We see if Packard Bell's latest EasyNote TJ65 can deliver.

Below this the multi-gesture touchpad is nicely delineated, and - as mentioned before - offers a lovely texture. Unfortunately we found it to be somewhat unresponsive though, requiring a very firm touch and occasionally suffering from lag. Since this...

Packard Bell Easynote NJ65 - 14in Laptop

This Intel-based laptop offers a competent spec and a few extras for a measly £500.

Much the same can be said of the speakers, which are good enough for the occasional online video or TV episode, but are left wanting with anything more taxing. This is where the Dolby Sound Room processing comes in, offering its Dolby Headphone...

Packard Bell EasyNote LJ65-AU-052UK review

Impressive mobility, but performance and features are sorely lacking

Excellent screen ; 5-in-1 card reader ; HDMI ; 802.11n Wi-Fi ; Build quality

Performance could be better ; No Bluetooth

A decent laptop with some good features although raw power is somewhat lacking

A stylish and well-specified laptop that offers great value for money

Build quality ; Stylish design ; Good value ; Good memory

Limited power ; Mouse button is a bit fiddly

A well specified laptop with stylish good looks and robust build quality. If you don't mind making a cuppa while it boots up, we recommend this quality laptop

Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65 notebook

Packard Bell is renowned for its affordable laptop ranges, but it's rare that they excite. Recently, however, it seems that more time and effort has been spent on the design side of things, and the EasyNote TJ65 is a great example of this. We're very...

Stylish and well-made, a great keyboard and well specified for the money

Budget processor, could be faster

We’re very impressed by the Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65. Sure, there are more powerful options, but if just need a machine to edit documents or browse the internet on, and put quality and style ahead of processor specifications, then this may be the...

Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65-AU-031

Nice and easy to type on it. Good sound and screen capacity.

Windows 7 is slow, explorer too. Battery is dead after 10 month. It is not good for business laptop. After it goes into standby mode or hibernate, it needs to be restarted to re-connect to the network.

quick to load, plays the sims 3 which is what i wanted from a laptop. Easy to navigate. Slim and sleek design and very light for a laptop. Touchpad is easy to navigate.

sometimes gets quite warm when playing games with it resting on your lap, Touchpad is sometimes accidently hit when touch typing, best to turn off touchpad when writing a word document as i sometimes accidently move the cursor with my thumb when...
