Quality material used throughout with an exceptionally good screen.

Packards Bell's ome useless software makes this particular model almost unuseable at 256Mb RAM. Even a massive memory upgrade would not solve the speed problems. Perhaps a clean installation of XP may do so at the expense of losing some useful PB...

nothing stands out, it is a descent laptop with a good specification

dvd-rw is rubbish it fails more disks than it actually burns - also at times it runs very slow but i have managed to sort this out by adding more memory

Basic cheap lap top, but with all the necessary features.

Although the processor is a fairly high spec the lap top seems a little slow, maybe due to the amount of preloaded software.
