PHILIPS X59 Refurbished

Outstanding price for a sub 2Kg notebook. I bought one in September 07, which my girlfriend broke, and could find nothing better with which to replace it other than another X59.

1GB RAM is stingey. Information on upgrading is sparse/vague/contradictory, but I upgraded to 2GB with cheap RAM and no problems. Power socket is a weak point. If you bash that it can break the internal connections and require a new motherboard. That's...

Looks beautiful, is super light and had great usability!

The battery last for about 2 and half hours which I know isn't bad but it could always be longer couldn't it? Also it comes with Microsoft Works (not Word or Excel) which means you have to buy additional software if you want to be compatible with evry...

Really small for a good price. And not too small that its unpractical (I am a uni student who spends a lot of time facebooking and ebaying). I just have a zippy laptop case from muji and literally throw it into my normal handbag. (Carrying around the...

Because of its size I can't play sims2 but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make, otherwise I would have had to go for a bigger laptop. Erm, thats it really. I have had it for about 4months so maybe the bad stuff hasn't materialised yet. Or maybe it...

The size and the capabilities for such a small laptop. It's relatively slim in design and easy to fit in a small bag, even a handbag! It has not crashed once. The price is excellent for this product and it comes with Vista and handles it well. The...

It has no latch to keep it shut, although the sprng hinge is very sturdy. The design is ok, but you can not really comapre it to a better quality design in the ultra portable laptop range, like say a Sony or HP. The battery life is average 2hours max...
