Absolute Beast

I love this laptop. I actually carry it everywhere with me, so it isn't impossible to make it very portable (although I have a reserved pocket for it and the power brick goes in a pocket on the outside). Toshiba drivers suck, but Nvidia came out with...

I love most everything about this laptop ; GTX 560m + i7 2630qm runs everything I have at Max (BFBC2, Mafia 2, Civilization V) or high settings (Crysis, high settings with 2x AA). You've got to admit, that's pretty incredible ; Speaker are phenomenal....

There is an enormous amount of heat coming out the exhaust out the left side, but I am glad it is moving the heat out ; The power brick is massive. Huge. And it can get hot. Just a heads up. A desktop sized power plug goes right into it, so plenty of...

Quick question

Just a question to anyone who can answer this: Can I put in a 2x8 GB RAM, in other words, can the laptop maximize to 16GB? And does it void the warranty if you swap RAMs, I mean, you could always switch it to the original 6GB when you send for...

Beautiful finish and design, Blu Ray, GTX560, fast

Power Adapter from what I heard could easily get loose overtime and may wiggle from the A/C Port, only 6GB of RAM inlcuded, not 1080p (you'd expect something this high-end and replacement of the X750 series to have full HD

So far so good

Seems to be a good machine and handles superb for games.

Runs smooth and quick. I Do not have a CD and can not do a clean install so i am running as received from Newegg just after uninstalling Norton. Ran the Call of Duty 4:Advanced warfare demo on high settings and ran great. So far it handles...

Only took one egg off because the screen bends easy and I am terrified of breaking it. The whole unit is framed with a hard plastic and not metal, however I'm starting to like it

Suitable

For a secondary computer for a gamer, the laptop is ideal. The Blu-Ray makes it a great multimedia system too. Lots of little problems and annoyances knock it to 3 stars.

Processor is impressive. Display is sharp and crisp. Very little non-Toshiba software included. Good lookin' chassis. Runs my games very well for its price. No lag on Space Marine. Speakers are very good for a laptop. Built-in Blu-Ray software is good

USB ports are located forward, which is annoying. Display is relatively heavy on reflection. Battery lasts .5-1.5 hours. Power Cable doesn't stick in as well as it ought to. Trackpad buttons are cheap and loud

overall this is a great laptop, it has the power to handle anything you want to throw at it. the large screen is nice, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Where i live there isnt room to set up a pc desk / desktop pc (due to how the other half...

This thing is a beast. I play Vanguard SoH which is very cpu and graphics intense and it handles it on balanced settings with 24 man raids like a champ

Location of USB ports, there are two on the right front and two on the left front sides. maybe its just me but im using to having them on the back of the laptop or the side in the back, not in the front, very annoying using a usb mouse. Also the...

Love the Laptop But....

Like I said great product and would recommend to anyone. If only they didn't make the mistake of forgetting the disc's. I think it was a mistake on there part but hopefully will get corrected soon.

The computer is great. Can play any game with great fps. Would recommend this to anybody looking for a desktop replacement. This thing is a beast. Big but it can handle anything you throw at it

The one big problem I have is the fact that it didn't come with any disc's. The fact that I'm going to have to call and have something sent to me is just a pain in the but. Something as simple as this is really disappointing

Excellent Price/Performance Balance

I bought an OEM of Win 7 Pro and did a fresh install to get rid of all bloatware. Also I bought a 240 GB SSD which makes this thing absolutely scream at all times. The i7 has an Intel 3000HD GPU built in. This is nice because when the laptop is just...

Great combination of CPU-GFX-Quality Construction-Price. More hardware than this, and you will hardly notice the improvement (save an SSD of course). Less hardware than this... well, that's where the price is right. It's a nice performance slot for an...

The power cord issues mentioned by other reviews do seem to exist - sort of. In short if you pick up the laptop and walk away with it Toshiba wants the laptop to let go of the power brick rather than drag it along and pull the laptop out of your hands....

Pretty darn good

I didn't have the power adapter problems like the others. Only two weird things: Power cord can come unattached somewhat easily. Also one of the media buttons (the pause/play button) doesn't seem to work. Everything else does. Maybe I am not using the...

This is my first gaming laptop, and I am very happy with it. The GPU kicks the fecalmatter out of games. The build quality is very good. Will run any game on high/max. 17 inch screen. 7200 rpm hard drive. Very good price/performance ratio. Backlit...

Not a 1080 screen (720 instead). Also comes with some bloatware. For some reason when I uninstalled the bloatware, it cause the computer to randomly power off. Since then I restored it to factory settings, and I was more careful about which programs I...
