Samsung’s latest Chromebook, the Galaxy Chromebook 2, starts at $549 and includes a fiery red chassis and an excellent QLED screen. It’s a bit expensive for the specs it offers, particularly the slow eMMC storage, but still has plenty going for it.

Glitch encountered with refurbished machine on Chromecast. It took a restore to original condition to get over a glitch that would not allow downloading of the cast extension from the Chrome Web Store. I called Google support and none of the staff...

To fully enjoy this, I installed Crouton. This requires some tech savvy and disabling the Chrome OS verification check on boot. In Ubuntu, you cannot run Wine apps on an Arm processor (nor Skype)
