Samsung QX410 review

Just $799? Wait, really? Indeed, it's quite hard to grasp that the Samsung QX410 costs under $800, and when you hear about what you get for the money, you'll...

Samsung QX410-S02

The Samsung QX410-S02 mainstream laptop is beautifully made and offers some high-grade features for a reasonable price, but its needs a component upgrade and a better clickpad to play with the big boys.

Trendy yet rugged aluminum design. Powerful Core i5 processor. Switchable graphics with a midrange Nvidia chip. Inexpensive. Equipped with Intel's Wireless Display and WiMax. Very good battery life.

Moody clickpad. Non-removable battery. No Sandy Bridge.

The Samsung QX410 is one of the premiere laptops in the 14-inch space, with only the moody clickpad holding it back.

Samsung QX410-J01 review

Though the average person might not normally think of Samsung when it comes to laptops, that's likely to change if he sees this new favorite of ours. The electronics giant has a huge reputation in HDTVs, smartphones, and other gadgets, and its 2010...

High-end look and feel; good keyboard; large touch pad; Intel Wireless Display, Nvidia Optimus graphics switching; very affordable for the features.

Mediocre battery life; no Bluetooth; entry-level Nvidia GeForce graphics.

Slickly designed and amply featured, the Samsung QX410 looks and plays the part of a more expensive high-end laptop at a price that's a solid value.

"DO NOT BUY"

Many models ship with a defective screen. The display suddenly splits into two parts, with a white vertical patch in the middle. Both halves display only the left side of the screen. If you connect it to an external monitor, it works fine. This problem...

Cheap given its specifications.

Many Samsung laptops come with a defective screen. See 'summary' section for more details

Excellent computer. Very fast and powerful.

Overall it is a very attractive and well performing machine. The Windows Experience Index is 3.8, because that is the maximum rating for the graphics processor. Average WEI is around 5.6 on a scale of 7. it is easy to tether any wifi device to the...

Attractive Aluminum casing. Great display, with backlit LED. HDMI port. Standard keyboard, I prefer to use wireless keyboard and mouse when at home. Boots quickly, but that feature can be disabled. WEI is 3.8 because of graphics limits. WIMAX.

Doesn't have blue ray or bluetooth. Both features should have been standard for the price of this laptop. Keyboard isn't backlit, hard to use in dark rooms. Only 3 USB ports.

Great, I love my baby.

I a Computer nerd and this laptop was my first computer I bought, and it had everything I wanted/needed. It's small, light, and beautiful.

Great I love the dual video card, I mostly use the NVIDIA. I find it great for gaming, such WoW and League of Legends ; I also love have a built in WiMax Network adapter

According to my friends on Skype, the built in Microphone sounds like toilet flushing whenever the CPU fan is spinning really fast. and also the webcam is decent and there's a little bit of Bloatware
