Not happy with the built in speakers..much preferred the "harman kardon" type I had on the P300-1CN

Having bought my last Toshiba satellite in 2003 and not had it miss a beat in 8 years and the battery still lasting over 2 hours. No way was I going to take a chance with anything else. new one is a delight.

The Satellite Pro L770- 11F is really an amazing laptop, although it is 17 inches, it is still light weight compared to my the Satellite Pro L550. The display is good and bright. It is really designed for a Pro user and all.

Battery Life, no Toshiba DVD Player software installed- however there is a pre installed Nero Smart Start for playing music and dvd, but you have to upgrade and pay online to use the full features. Toshiba Configfree sometimes is not working. Design of...

Fast and easy to set up

Keyboard kept freezing making it impossible to use. Useless!

- Huge screen, HD films look great on it! - Lots of free progs installed with it - graphics ok (can use 3d effects, but haven`t worked out how yet!) - quiet fan - nice colour - fast hibernate/sleep/restart - windows 7 is heaven after using xp/vista!!!!

- sound ok, nothing special! - noticeable hot air blowing out, s`be cooler - built in camera s`be be higher than 0.3 mega

good, fast processor. Nice, bright screen. I like having the numeric pad. Keyboard is good for typing.

Only 3 USB ports and ports in the wrong place, near the front of the laptop and so when you open the DVD drawer the cables from anything plugged in gets in the way. Not the prettiest of machines.

Durable loaded with features quite light pleasant ergo design no problems everything works and I can run Virtual computers on it its like another PC within a PC using Virtual PC function in Windows 7 this machine cuts like a hot knife through butter...

This model should have got a lit keyboard too not much of a cost to Toshiba I hope they offer this feature to all there customers on L770-11F after all its a professional machine and could well have used a back lit keyboard.
