Toshiba Satellite T235-S1350

Toshiba's latest CULV-equipped laptop, the Satellite T235-S1350, has all the key laptop essentials for an unbeatable price.

Very aggressively priced. Exquisitely thin and lightweight. White design is vibrant. Excellent battery life. HDMI and eSATA included. Excellent keyboard. Wide touchpad.

Pentium processor is not best of breed.

Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345 review: Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345

Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345

Strong battery life; thin design; better-than-Netbook performance; excellent keyboard.

Faster (if heavier) 13-inch laptops offer better performance at the same price; lacks an optical drive.

The Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345 is a solid, slim, and affordable 13-inch tweener laptop for ultraportable computing; however, in a landscape filled with thinner and faster alternatives, it no longer stands alone.

Very nice for the price

So after you uninstall all the junk software they forced on you... Go grab yourself the free program Magic Disc and Magic ISO and install. It creates a virtual CD/DVD drive. Grab yourself a USB memory stick. Go to a desktop and using Magic ISO rip an...

Lightweight, small'ish, sexy ; Battery life is amazing for the power of the machine ; Dual core low power CPU that doesn't drag when you work it, helps make multi-tasking quicker ; 3Gigabytes of DDR3 memory is plenty, again, if that's not enough you...

I only mention this because it's a huge peeve of mine....and it's common for ALL laptop manufacturers so you cant get away from it, so it is not a CON specific to this device......the pre-installed junk ; Symantec Antivirus, do yourself a favor,...

Great little notebook!

Handels games well, but would love to see more bios options for video settings and overclocking , or a gaming version in this form factor. It handels medium settings on starcraft 2 , but runs smooth on low with hi-res cinematics. Emulators and Older...

Small / light weight while not sacrificing much power over larger notebooks. Cost is reasonable - Dell has a 13" amd neo k625 for $999 with the same specs including the rare esata/usb port , LED screen , and ultrathin form factor. Doesn't get any...

Perfect mobile laptop

perfect mobile laptop with incredible price!! One of the best designs on the market + powerful CPU+graphics!!

Very powerful for! VERY THIN - 1inch!! or less!! It doesn't get that hot(actually I tried another brand 13" with Corei3-it was way hotter!) Has no issues playing FullHD1080 with ANY codec you like - no problem(used klite to evaluate) could play HD, do...

good touchpad but buttons are at the slight angle, so it's a bit unusual(for me, from what I used before). Although still comfortable it took me day or 2 to get used to it ; Maybe I wish it had a bluetooth...(it has even a led for it) ; and maybe...

Great portable computer

I can't replicate the "hot palmrest" issue another poster mentioned. I have been using it non-stop and it hasn't been an issue for me at all.

Battery life is really good. It really does get six hours. Plus, it runs my programs pretty snappy too. No problems with running aero on windows 7. Screen looks great. Whole design looks really thin, sleek and all around nice (except for textured...

Weak speakers, but I guess that is to be expected in a portable computer. It takes a little longer to boot than I would like, but I am probably just used to my quad-core desktop

dissapointed

Realy wanted to love this one. Would of been my portable laptop for work and some matlab programming. Be warned, if you are ok with the heat on your palms, then its a great buy. And not it wasnt a defect, theres an actual warning on the wrapper that...

Light weight ; snappy ; incredible form factor ; decent touch pad ; not too much bloat ; screen is great

Laptop gets EXTREMELY hot under the bottom middle and especially hot where you rest your left palm ; This is completely unacceptable ; The designers should of managed the components so that they generate the heat away from your palm rest ; I dont care...
