Adequate

This is a completely pedestrian notebook. It is the poster child of "OK for the price." The only thing above average about is that it has a glare-resistant screen; everything else is just OK. The best descriptor for this machine is "usable." The screen...

It is adequate, but unremarkable in every way.

Comes with lots of Lenovo bloatware, but it's not clear what can be safely removed. I will probably just zap all of it.

Just O.K.

It's a nice notebook but I'm not impressed with it. My wife uses it and she is not happy.

It works but there are some problems.

The touchpad is terrible. It lags most of the time when you slide your finger to move the cursor. The screen was going into portrait mode but I found a setting in synaptic to stop that. As of now I uninstalled the synaptic driver and it seems to help....

Surprisingly good, if a little quirky

Hard to hold the cons against this machine for a sub-$300 machine. It has a decent amount of bloatware loaded on it that'll take time to remove, but I ended up putting a 120GB SSD in and reinstalling Windows 10 from scratch, which activated itself...

Inexpensive for Intel CPU machine Good keyboard Good screen Thin for this price tier Decent construction

Lots of wasted space inside empty optical drive bay, could have been thinner/smaller. Strange BIOS/recovery button (you don't just hold DEL at boot, you push a paperclip into a hole) Trackpad needs a lot of tweaking to get the sensitivity right (update...

Just what I needed.

I was looking at chromebooks as a less expensive alternative to higher end laptops until I saw this laptop for a lower reduced price. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm wonder how well it will function with 16GB of RAM. Even though I'm usually a...

As fast and reliable as I need it to be with just 4GB of RAM. The RAM can also be upgraded. Was able to dual boot Windows 10 with Linux Mint. I've played the Second Life game with it with no lagging on either Windows or Linux.

It doesn't come with a DVD/CD drive. That wasn't a problem for me, because I already owned a couple of external DVD drives that can be connected by USB.

Good product for the money

I would highly recommend this product as it is the best you can get with the associated price. I got mine during a sale event for 250$.

- Decent startup time - Light weight - Portable

- A lot of Lenovo products come preinstalled which I prefer to remove

A question was asked if this notebook computer has a DVD/CD drive. The one I got does not have either.

It works great. I bought it for my wife. She is a new computer user.

It would have been nice to have an optical drive, but for the price, I did not expect one. I can get an external one for $20-30 if I need it.

Small and lightweight

I replaced the HDD with a SSD. Much faster boot up time. In comparison, this notebook is smaller and lighter than my HP G60-440US, tho, the HP has a CD/DVD drive. The Lenovo comes with pre-installed Windows 10 and trial versions of McAfee and MS...

Sale price, two USB 3 ports and one USB 2 port. HDMI port. Gigabit LAN. Small and lightweight.

A CD/DVD drive would be nice but it would add to the size and weight of the notebook. So, no eggs deducted.

Lenovo/Intel Combo

This notebook is a good value. Comes with Win 10. No bloatware. Fantastic low cost price. It is easy to change installed hard drive for SSD, just remove several screws on underside of notebook. I have purchased several Lenovo notebooks in the past and...

Great!

Great pricepoint from Lenovo. I use this at work during lunchtime to type up my essays that are due for school. If lost or stolen easily replaceable as it is not over $1,000....

Fast with sub mimimal specs Buid quality is AAA No Bloatware Popping Up Easy To Setup Just the right size, 11.6" Too Small Ultra portable Lightweight

The pics show an optical drive, this model does not have an optical drive
