Toshiba Portege M800

Toshiba's rejuvenated line of notebooks bring about a new stylish look that definitely appeals to the fashion conscious folks. Case in point is the shiny and glossy white motif of Toshiba PORTEGE M800, which we got our hands on for some good ol'...

Toshiba Portege M800 (PPM81A-08S01S) notebook

The Toshiba Portege M800 (PPM81A-08S01S) laptop is fast and portable. It is also very pink.

Fast, portable, plenty of expansion ports

Sakura Pink colour scheme won't appeal to everyone

The Toshiba Portege M800 (PPM81A-08S01S) is a fast and portable notebook that has lots of expansion ports, but its Sakura Pink colour scheme draws a lot of attention. However, if you want a good 13.3in laptop and you don't mind the bright pink chassis,...

Toshiba Portege M800 (PPM80A-01900P)

Compact yet relatively powerful.

Compact yet relatively powerful, comfortable to use, improves on the previous model

Pre-installed trial version of Microsoft Office (we'd prefer a free office suite, like OpenOffice.org)

It’s good to see that Toshiba has improved this notebook and rectified some of the small performance flaws we noticed in the earlier M800. Overall the upgrade has seen small performance gains primarily in the graphics department. It's a great...

Toshiba Portege M800 (PPM80A-03H009)

Compact without compromising on features or performance

Compact, excellent performance, Sleep and Charge USB ports, useful pre-installed utilities

Optical drive vibrates, keyboard feels bouncy, screen has narrow viewing angles

It's not perfect, but its portable size and relatively powerful specifications make this notebook stand out. It's well-suited to anyone who wants a compact device that doesn't sacrifice features.

Toshiba Portégé M800-106 13.3in Notebook

We take a look at Toshiba's latest Centrino 2 equipped 13.3in notebook offering.

It has to be said that white LED lighting against a white background really works a treat in the visual department. This also makes the M800 perfectly usable in the dark. When pressing a media key, rather than an annoying beep, they briefly light up if...

Toshiba Portege M800

With a 13.3-inch screen, the Toshiba Portege M800 weighs 1.98kg and has an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 card, and a 20GB hard drive. Tosh has also put a DVD drive in the 310x227x30mm body and given the...

It manages to mix stunning looks with a performance that can beat the opposition into submission, in one handy travel-sized package. It’s good looking enough to use when out and about and packs enough power for those business meetings. Toshiba Portege...
