Review Toshiba Qosmio G30

HD capable LCD TV, DVB t tuner, Dolby Home theatre, Harman/Kardon

pleasent keyboard ; high resolution display ; very good stability of changing viewing angles ; good sound ; numerous accessories ; DVB-T tuner ; 2 hard disks, RAID possible ; HD-DVD drive ; good performance data

habituation-needy keyboard layout ; height and frontal border disturb while writing ; display cloese not completely ; mediocre noise ambience

Toshiba Qosmio G30 (PQG32A-02V01W)

The Toshiba Qosmio is a well established entertainment notebook, and in many respects it stands smack bang in the middle of Toshiba and Sony's HD medi...

HD-DVD-R drive, High resolution screen, Media controls, HDMI output, Performance, Battery life

Heat escapes via the keyboard

This is already a very cool machine, with plenty of power and functionality. Now with the added HD-DVD-R drive it's even better.

Toshiba Qosmio G30-204 review

A well-featured machine, but starting to show its age

Good performance ; Comfortable to use ; Well built

Big and heavy

There's nothing wrong with its features, build or performance, but it shows its age next to smaller and lighter rivals

Toshiba Qosmio G30-102 review

Great performance and excellent usability

HD DVD drive ; Large memory and hard drive ; Well built and comfortable to use

Portability is virtually non-existant

It's certainly bulky, but that's hardly a surprise with all the multimedia treats the G30-102 comes with
