Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850 review: Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850

Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850

Top-of-the-line components, including Intel Core i7; second solid-state hard drive; massive 18-inch 1080p display.

Expensive; tiny touch pad; surprisingly cramped keyboard; mute button beeps loudly when pressed.

Toshiba revives its Qosmio gaming line with the high-end X505. It has everything from Blu-ray to an Intel Core i7 CPU, but it also carries a premium price.

Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850

The Toshiba Quosmio X505-Q850 is first out of the gates with a mobile Core i7 processor, and it's fast. We give you an exclusive preview.

Gorgeous 18.4-inch, 1,920-by-1,080 resolution screen. Core i7 CPU. LED backlit keyboard. Solid multimedia test performance. Cheaper than comparable laptops.

Trailed in gaming performance. So-so battery life.

Toshiba Qosmio x500-11g

Toshiba's Qosmio marvel is a rig for the enthusiast and will eat anything that you throw at it. Fired up in 'precious black' and red it is also the most stylish desktop replacement around

If you want a fully-fledged desktop replacement that packs serious performance and features the Qosmio X500-11G is for you.
