Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467

The Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467 is a budget laptop for multimedia enthusiasts who may occasionally want to travel with it but who don't plan to lug it around regularly.

Attractive price point. Big hard drive. Gorgeous screen.

Small battery equals poor battery life.

Toshiba Satellite A135 review: Toshiba Satellite A135

Toshiba Satellite A135

Inexpensive; decent performance; dedicated media controls.

No high-end CPU or video card options; poor battery life; flimsy keyboard.

The Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467 is a middle-of-the-road system in every way, but it starts to look more impressive when you factor in the budget-friendly price, making it a solid choice for mainstream users.

Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Review

I can't say that I looked up any others; I've always been a Toshiba loyalist myself.  My grandmother, cousins, several friends, as well as the school system I attend and work for all have Toshibas, and all have fantastic track records.  Some friends...

Inexpensive ; Feature-packed ; High build quality ; Stays quite cool ; Amount of junk software is relatively small

Battery life is short ; Tru-Brite screen shows a lot of glare and fingerprints

I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone in the category of users who aren't looking for the most powerful machine for the heaviest of tasks, but are light users and are not so demanding on a computer

Toshiba Satellite A135 Review

While comparing the prices of various A135s, I actually found myself thinking that this particular Toshiba series really is exemplary when it comes to illustrating the somewhat confusing task of pricing and purchasing a notebook. Yes, it's possible to...

Exceptional value ; Very good multimedia machine ; Excellent screen ; Decent build quality ; Reasonably appealing appearance ; On the whole, stays very cool

Keyboard layout may take some getting used to ; Some flex in keyboard ; Fan tends to cycle on and off ; Warm air blows out of left vent and onto the hand of a left-handed mouse user

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this notebook to someone looking to buy a notebook for general office and multimedia tasks while keeping the price low and avoiding serious sacrifices in terms of performance and components. Given that most people are...

Toshiba A135-S4427 Laptop

At just $900, this Toshiba A135-S4427 has a large 15.4-inch screen and weighs less than the other eight models of the same size. Plus, the display is remarkably glare resistant, making it our sun-friendly favorite.

TOSHIBA A135-S4527

I picked this up from a customer who upgraded to a new laptop. I re installed Windows and all drivers, did away with the bloatware, and turned off some unneeded Vista features, and now this little lappy runs pretty quick. I have thought about tossing...

Well made laptop ; Nice screen ; Solid feeling keyboard ; All port are on the sides and front

Has Vista Home on it ; Cannot upgrade past 2 GB of RAM...it comes with 1 GB which is not enough, you need at least 2 GB to run Vista Home smoothly

Greatest computer ever owned

I suggest buying a windows vista compatible mouse. Very usefull

This laptop is the fastest computers I have ever used. The speakers sound great. The screen looks amazing and clear. The machine is very quiet. I am very pleased with this laptop

and the touch pad is good, although it's hard to use because doesn't let you scroll the cursor far enough. The screen attacks dust like no other

Decent notebook

I purchased this elsewhere (not newegg) for $600 on sale.

Keyboard doesn't feel cheap, but rather difficult to use.
