Toshiba Satellite A665-S6100X

The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6100X delivers Core i7 power for under a grand.

Reasonably priced. Sandy Bridge Core i7 processor. Blu-ray drive. USB 3.0.

Integrated graphics. Smudgy finish. Slow hard drive. So-so battery life.

Toshiba Satellite A665D-S5175

The Toshiba Satellite A665D-S5175 has some winning features, but there's not enough good to outweigh the bad.

Good sized hard drive. Sweet sounding Harman Kardon speakers. 720p display. Sleep-and-Charge and Sleep-and-Music are clever and useful.

Smudge-prone plastic. Disjointed keyboard layout. Reflective display. Disappointing battery life. Overpriced.

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6058 review: Toshiba Satellite A665-S6058

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6058

Harman Kardon speakers deliver outstanding audio output; Core i5 CPU turns in competitive performance; solid construction; great keyboard.

Poor battery life; no Blu-ray drive; flimsy mouse buttons.

Upgraded graphics are a highlight of the Toshiba Satellite A665-S6058, a mainstream 16-inch laptop that can pull double duty as a mobile gaming system thanks to its Nvidia Optimus graphics and outstanding audio.

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6086

Long battery life, great audio, a gorgeous display, and WiMax radio mean that the Toshiba Satellite A665-S6086 is a great, well-connected, entertainment laptop.

Extended-life battery produces great battery life. WiMax. Solid performance for its price. Great-sounding audio. Beautiful-looking display.

Extended-life battery makes the laptop heavy. Glossy display.

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6094

Booming audio and quad-core processing highlight the Toshiba Satellite A665-S6094, an otherwise average laptop.

Harman Kardon speakers deliver outstanding audio. Comfortable keyboard and firm chassis. Touchpad supports multi-touch gestures. WiMax on board.

Terrible battery life. Boring, plastic chassis. Hugely clacky mouse buttons. No Blu-ray.

Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV review: Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV

Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV

Fast components; includes Nvidia's 3D Vision support; Blu-ray drive.

Expensive for a midsize laptop; poor battery life, despite a gigantic battery.

Unless you're a huge 3D fan, the high price is a bit of a stretch for the 15.6-inch Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV, but we do appreciate the 3D Blu-ray playback.

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050

Above-average audio; long-lasting 12-cell battery; Intel Core i3 CPU turns in competitive performance; Intel Wireless Display; solid construction; great keyboard.

Other systems in this price range offer extra features such as Blu-ray; has flimsy mouse buttons.

The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050 is a smart choice for home use thanks to its outstanding audio output, Intel Wireless Display, and roomy 16-inch display.

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050 review

The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6050 is a well-rounded, affordable laptop for home use. Although it's not the cheapest laptop with an Intel Core i3 processor, it's still reasonably priced at $699. Its 16-inch display is too large for daily travel and its...

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6070 review: Toshiba Satellite A665-S6070

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6070

Powerful processor; large hard drive.

Plastic body feels cheap; low screen resolution.

Toshiba's 16-inch Satellite A665-S6070 desktop replacement offers plenty of performance for just under $1,000, unfortunately wrapped in a dull plastic case.

Toshiba Satellite A665-S6085

Toshiba states that the A665D-S6085 has a "tile keyboard," which is a fairly accurate description, as the square shape of the isolated keys looks an awful lot like Scrabble tiles. The keys have decent travel and don't suffer from any noticeable flex. A...

Harmon Kardon speakers dish out delicious-sounding audio. Great-looking display. Blu-ray drive

Disappointing battery life. Glossy display. Display doesn?t support 1080p playback

The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6085 gets the performance boost its predecessor sorely needed, while still being an excellent entertainment laptop, because of its amazing-sounding audio and gorgeous-looking display. A Blu-ray drive sweetens its appeal, but...
