Toshiba Satellite Click 2 Pro review

Toshiba's Click 2 Pro is powerful, but short battery life, rear port placement, and a wobbly hinge keep it from surpassing the competition.

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L35W-B3204

The Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L35W-B3204 detachable tablet sits between dinky budget tablets and pricey hybrid laptops in terms of price, performance, and even physical design, but the larger size and affordable price don't make it any less awkward.

Its large size is comfortable for typing and productive use in laptop mode. Minimal screen wobble. Relatively affordable price for a hybrid tablet

Unwieldy when using as a tablet. Awkward docking hinge

As new approaches to 2-in-1 designs have combined tablet and laptop, we've seen lots of fresh devices come under the umbrella of those two categories, from inexpensive detachable tablets to premium laptops that fold around to offer a tablet-like...

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 review: Bulky as a laptop; bulkier as a tablet

This detachable doesn't deliver an ideal experience in either role.

Very good battery life ; Good price-to-performance ratio

Big and heavy (almost too big to use as a tablet) ; 5400rpm hard drive ; Low-res display

The Toshiba Click 2 provides good performance and battery life in a 13.3-inch detachable screen, but the sheer bulk and awkward keyboard dock detract from the experience.

A 13-inch hybrid for any budget

New two-in-one hybrids offer 13-inch screens and slim designs for under $600 or more than $1,000.

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 Pro

Crisp, full-HD display; Rich audio output ; Bulky, top-heavy design; Shallow keyboard; Below-average battery life ; The Toshiba Satellite Click 2 Pro sports a sharp, detachable display and booming speakers, but is weighed down by a bulky design.

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L30W Convertible Review

Budgetary constraints. Detachable keyboard base? Check. IPS touchscreen, svelte metallic casing, Windows 8.1? Check, check, check. It all sounds enticing, but it's what Toshiba had to cut that sends the Click 2 along an uphill battle.

Simple yet mostly attractive case design, Lack of cooling fan means near silence, Manages temperatures well, IPS screen

Weak application performance, Slow 5400 RPM hard drive, Poor keyboard with barely any key travel, Bulky and cumbersome both in tablet and notebook form, Battery life is subpar for its class and components, Low-resolution screen with poor color...

Everyone wants on the detachable convertible/multi-mode bandwagon, and Toshiba hopes that their revised Click 2 series will earn them a spot. Sure, it’s attractive, functional, and quiet—not to mention relatively cool under load. The screen’s also...

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L30W-B-10D

A budget hybrid that wants to replace your tablet and your laptop

Smarter, slicker design ; Easy detachable mechanism ; Bright, high-contrast screen ; Snappy, lively speakers ; Cool and quiet

Still heavier and thicker than other hybrids ; Lack of processing power ; Average battery life ; Poor keyboard ; Low screen resolution

Skullcandy’s hardware is an improvement on the Beats kit used in previous Toshiba hybrids. The high-end is snappy rather than tinny, and the mid-range sounds good – it’s got some crunch and depth. There’s barely any bass, but this is expected and...
