Toshiba Satellite L70-B-130 Notebook Review

Hot Gamer? Toshiba self-confidently advertises its new multimedia laptop, Satellite L70-B-130 with AMD's R9 M265X as "Enthusiast Graphics". Our review reveals whether the 17-inch laptop justifies this high claim, why "hot" should be taken literally,...

Stylish design, Decent sound system, Compelling multimedia and gaming performance, Pleasant casing temperatures, Long idle runtime

Piano lacquer surfaces very dust sensitive, Glare screen with middling brightness, No Full HD resolution, Very high load hardware temperatures, Slightly high load noise development, No maintenance cover, Weak battery life during medium and high load

The market for multimedia laptops in the price range of below 1000 Euros (~$1267) is highly competitive, and Toshiba takes its place with the objective of playing along in the concert of gaming suitable multimedia laptops. However, the manufacturer...

Review Toshiba Satellite L70-A-10T Notebook

Haswell allrounder. The Satellite L70-A-10T is another offer for those looking for a general-purpose laptop with 17.3 inch size. The customer gets a Haswell CPU, a GeForce graphics card, a big memory capacity and a full HD screen for about 900 Euro....

good system performance; gaming capable; big storage capacity; bright fullHD screen; low energy consumption; relatively quietly

temporary CPU throttling under load; bluish screen; 64 bit connection of video memory

Toshiba only connects the video memory via 64 bit interface, which slightly decreases the graphics performance. We expected more from a 900 Euro notebook.

Toshiba Satellite L70-B-11C review

Can a 17.3-inch screen lift this Toshiba above the competition?

17.3-inch, 1,600 x 900 screen ; Smart exterior design ; Reasonable Core i5 processor

Mediocre screen quality ; Poor graphics performance ; Disappointing keyboard and trackpad

The big screen might stand out, but little else about this machine does.

Good price with reasonable spec.

Not as well made as my previous Toshiba and Windows 10 is unnecessarily complicated.

Toshiba Satellite L70-C-13C

Looks nice and works as expected

The mouse pad is much too sensitive and the whole thing has quite sharp edges that are uncomfortable when using the laptop for any length of time.

Fantastic machine good screen very fast

Reliability!!!! Started playing up so took it back, told it may need a new hard drive and it could be up to 21 days for repair. Ime a self employed project manager on a prestigious project in Leeds. How can I manage without a laptop for 3 weeks.
