Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105

The Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105 runs on a CULV processor, but everything else makes it a netbook.

Best processor on a netbook. 1080p videos played back beautifully. Good resolution. Lightweight. Runs on DDR3 memory. HDMI-Out included. Excellent battery life. Speedy netbook. Affordable.

Poorly designed mouse buttons. Keyboard can use some work. Poor speaker placement.

Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105 review

It's getting to be a fairly confusing time to be in the market for an 11-inch laptop. Why do we say that? Simply put, this used to be considered a "Netbook" category, mainly populated by Intel Atom processors. With the rise of ULV (ultra low-voltage)...

Really good battery life; better-than-Netbook performance in a Netbook size; high-def display.

Uncomfortable keyboard and touch pad; for a little more money you could simply have a full-size laptop.

With a Pentium processor and a decent amount of hard-drive space and RAM, the Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105 is more like a minilaptop in a Netbook's body. The question is, does a thin-and-light this small appeal to you?

Toshiba Satellite T115

Gone are the Atom processor's days of monopolizing the low-cost mobile-computing market. This should come as welcome news to folks who want the price and portability benefits of a netbook but more robust performance.

Pentium M processor; more RAM, storage, and screen res than most netbooks; low price

Small keyboard; funky right/left mouse bar; only good for ancient games

Like any budget portable, the T115 has its compromises. The keyboard feels a little cramped, and the function buttons are particularly small; worse, the single bar that serves as the right- and left-mouse buttons is stiff and a bit awkward to use—it...

Review: Toshiba Satellite T115 laptop

Back in November we posted a review of Toshiba's Satellite T135 laptop. It ended up being a solid Windows 7 thin-and-light system that carried a reasonable price tag, thanks to the use of Intel's CULV platform. Despite its strengths it's probably not...

Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105- A Netbook Like Notebook

What ever confusion you had about what makes a notebook different from netbook will be further worsened when you have a look at the Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105. This computer looks a lot like netbook and some will even call it so but it is really a...

Good battery life, small compact size

You will get a bigger and more comfortable laptop if you pay a bit more, keyboard and trackpad is a bit uncomfortable to use, there is no optical drive

Toshiba Satellite T115-S1105 is just like a netbook but a bit faster. If you want a netbook that is fast with the size limit go get this but if you are looking for a notebook we would recommend you to pay a few bucks more and get a full size laptop...

Great little notebook

Do not cover the vent, you'll cook your computer.

Small. Very light. Great display. Keyboard as good as these tiny keyboards can be. Outstanding performance. Quiet

Small. The cost of the performance is heat. The quiet fan does not blow a lot of air, so the air is hot

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Good machine, No software Included.

Other than that the machine looks very nice. Very shiny which in turn brings fingerprints, but I am in no way concerned about finger prints. Very small and easy to carry around with you. Very good machine for the money you pay.

Fast machine, especially if upgraded to 4 gigs of RAM. Screen is crystal clear. Picks up wireless well. Is very quiet, and also when the fans do kick on you barely hear them. I have noticed it stays very cool which is surpizing for a net book

This is where the eggs started to come off. Upon opening everything and feeling it would save time I was intending to do a fresh install of windows 7 with the dvd drive I had purchased. To my surprize there is NO SOFTWARE. There are no discs included....
