Partly disadvantageous placement of interfaces; Mediocre contrast and viewing angle stability; Sound quality below average; Limited battery life

First and foremost, probably the Dell Studio XPS 13. Furthermore: the soon to be released HP Envy 13, the Apple MacBook Pro 13, the Sony Vaio SR41, and the LG P310 with Geforce 9600M GT graphics card!

Toshiba's Satellite U500 wants to be portable and powerful, which has a negative impact on both the battery life and the weight. Still, if you need power in a petite package, the U500 might do it for you.

Bright screen, Textured exterior gives a sense of quality, Eco mode gives an excellent idea of exactly how much power you're using
