Great lens, images are sharp, focus is quick. Solidly built.

Its quite heavy compared to say the 18-55mm but then it is so much better.

f5:6 at 85mm could be an issue but at this price, it's still a great lens.

Quality pictures from a reasonably compact lens. A very useful focal range to have if you just want to walk around with the one lens. Wide end of range ideal when you can't step back to get the shot.

If you have spent a long time reading reviews on what lens to buy as I did you will have read this Lens does not have any bad reviews. This is because this lens is Excellent. The build quality, in fact everything about this lens is ' top notch'....

The one and only bad point if you can call it bad is the Price. But if you want this quality and this sharpness from a Lens then accept , you are going to have to pay this sort of money and move on. Order your 16 85 lens now, its worth it.

It is a quality product, is easy to use with good results.

Probably like most quality equipment, it is quite heavy to have on your camera around your neck all the time.
