This is a really fast lens.

very well built lens typical Nikon quality.

None at the moment.

1. Annoying slack between turning the focus ring and the distance scale (common with the f4 lenses). 2. Distortion at 16mm.

Amazingly sharp edge to edge ultra wide angle lens on my Nikon D800 Vibration reduction brilliant and I have been able to use it with shutter speeds as low as 1/15s and still get extremely sharp images.

Only quibble, and not one on the lens itself, is that as with all Nikon FX lenses they are expensive

Lighter than the nikon 14-24 Wide enough not to miss the extra 2mm lost over the 14-24 Haven't really missed the extra stop of light down to 2.8 Existing filters fit the front. Cost of this was almost half of the 2.8 Nikon I am really happy with this...

Slightly softer at the edges but not a deal breaker.
