Bought this thinking I may use it in really bright situations. Now when it's not attached, my camera doesn't feel complete. This has DEFINITELY held significant improvements to my photography. I feel connected to my scenes now. Highly recommended.

Overall, this is a very good lens. I bought it to replace my 55-200mm. In comparison 70-300mm is a bit sharper, but not at the ends(around 70mm and 300mm). You get the zoom, and I love it, but it's not very sharp. If you don't need anything over 200mm...
