This relatively cheap circular polarizing filter is not bad, but it arrived in separate parts (probably because vibrations during transport shook it apart), so I had to replace the glass of the filter in the hhousing, and screw the outer ring back on....

This feels to me to be a lighter aluminum than the original speedotron reflectors, it is also shorter in depth. The price was perfect and the quality is more than sufficient for me. I give this item two thumbs up! Budget price, functional and durable.....

If you have invested in a len's that requires a filter of this size you should get one of these if for no other reason than it will protect your lens, damage this & throw away the filter, damage the lens & throw away the lot !

Teh item was a fiber-optic Toslink cable which can transmit up to 7.1 audio. Unfortunately the source that I was intending the cable for did not have an active output, so I'll jsut hang onto it until I get a functional source.

I got the Pentax K2000 Camera that comes with the cheap version of the Pentax DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL. I say cheap because it uses the same glass but with a cheaper construction. Plastic mount and no lens hood.

Optically this is great - allows excellent motion blur for those mountain stream shots. The x-pro range also is pretty decent (although not perfect) at tackling vignetting when using your wide angle lenses.
