Great Lens

Sony and Nikon have or will have competitive camera out on the market but I have an invenstment with Canon lenes ans flash units so I am satisfied with staying with Canon at this point.

Solid build for a non-L lens. Compact and not too heavy. Amazing lens for interior shots, superior coverage with minimal distortion. Very nice for wide landscape shots. Extremely capable lens.

Great Wide Angle Lens

Sony and Nikon have or will have competitive camera out on the market but I have an invenstment with Canon lenes ans flash units so I am satisfied with staying with Canon at this point.

Best wide angle option for a crop camera. Pictures are very sharp, colors are great. Stopped down to F22, I've shot landscapes with excellent detail from center to edge of the frame every time.
