Canon you mean tight-wads! Brilliant Lens!! But where is the hood? Maybe a padded bag too? This latest version comes with a center-pinch cover, which is good. This rating of 9 would be a 10 all day long if you wern't so tight with the hood!

Much better performance than the kit lens. Larger aperture gives better depth of field control and faster shutter speed in low light.
