The Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH. is a sharp, compact wide-angle lens for rangefinder cameras, and it comes with a Leica price tag.

Compact. Very, very sharp from f/2.8. Edge-to-edge clarity when stopped down. Minimal distortion.

Expensive. Soft edges at f/2. Manual focus only.

Leica Wide Angle 35mm f/1.4 Summilux M Aspherical Manual Focus Lens - Chrome

This is without doubt the best lens I have ever used. Even wide open, it produces exceptional sharpness with an exquisite "3D" micro-contrast that delivers truly beautiful images. An immense optical accomplishment.

None, except maybe the price ; But you get exactly what you pay for, so the lens represents extremely good value
