Nikon AF 50mm f/1.4

Excellent optic, fitted to my Nikon D750 results are really first class.

Forgotten the limitations of a 50mm lense. That was all we had to begin with in the okd days.

The best quality of picture for the 50mm

Quite expensive.

This a classic standard lens which is better than most zooms. To get a zoom of this standard around the 50mm and with 2.8 aperture you would have to pay at least ten times as much. There is no zoom with 1.4.

None at this price.

So sharp, so fast. I'd forgotten how important a fixed focal length lens can be. Although zooms have improved immeasureably in my 37 years of SLR ownership, but with this, less is so much more!
