Accurate smooth focus ring, very quiet and does not hunt like the 105 mm lens. Finish is good but course looking. It is a little heavy but then it is a 150 mm prime.

The knob on the tripod ring is big and clumsy.

Excellent macro lens and fast 240mm - on EOS 40D - tele lens. Also very good quality with 2X EX Sigma converter.

I am not a professional photographer and need to experiment with the camera body (Canon) to get superb results. The lens is definitely excellent.

Heavy lens that is not very portable. No image stabilisation, so more suited to use with a tripod.

Outstanding Build Quality. Fast to focus when not using close up. Nicely Balanced and not front heavy. Insects don't see you coming.

Any "bad" points would be nit picking as it's Superb.
