Hadn't realised you cannot use it with a filter. Thats a real shame.

Nicely constructed lens with a feeling of quality. Relatively compact but then it is on the slow side.

Performance of my copy in combination with the Sigma sd Quattro was disappointing. Some decentring and remaining soft in upper left corner even when stopped down. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the good reviews from SLR gear, Photozone and Lenstip.

Reasonably priced, this lens has opened up new possibilities for landscape photography.

Works well with cropped sensors.

Very wide lens. Now I can step in front of the crowd to get the shots rather than stepping back to fit everything in.

the only thing I can think off is the red dot on the mount is not base on the top like the Canon lenses..!!
