It is simply a great lens. For any amateur photographer looking to upgrade and take some great shots with the telephoto capability, it's great. My grandson plays a lot of local soccer and I can now capture some great shots without being in everyones...

Ease of use and take fantastic zoom pictures (especially if your're at the back of the hall on school play night)

Can be awkward if you then want to take close up pictures. Dust can get in if you keep on having to change the lens.
