In March 2006 the Pentax company informed about launching a new Limited series lens on the market. It was supposed to be a 70 mm f/2.4 model and it was scheduled to hit shop shelves in October.

I absolutely love this lens. I think I've taken my best photos on my K-x. Can't wait to see how it is with K-5.

Great IQ; great for portraits but also versatile for many photo application. This is probably my favourite lens that I own

Great image quality, even wide open, across the frame. Quick AF with manual override (much improved over older 77 f/1.8. Terrific carry anywhere size

Could be faster (aperture). Doesn't quite have the magic that the 77 LTD is capable of
