Fantastic lens for a great price compared to the Sony equivalent. Takes a more standard 62mm size of filter

Focus ring could be a little tighter and at the front of the lens rather than right where a finger typically rests. Will just have to learn to not rest a finger on it when manually focussing.

Light, compact and well balanced with excellent image stabilization and accurate auto-focus, giving very high quality images throughout the focal range.

Some might find the zooming function slightly stiff but this does have the virtue that the lens never extends unintentionally under its own weight.

Saves having two lenes

Quite expensive

Brilliant manual focus bezel. Smooth auto focus.

Only gripe is that the zoom bezel can be a little stiff

Focal length range, with good image quality across the range. An ideal '1-lens' solution for travel etc. Quick focus Small (relative) size

Lens flare occurs very often, more often that with Sony standard kit lens.
