Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD

The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD lens covers a long zoom range and produces sharp results through most of the frame, but it isn't perfect.

Long telephoto reach. Optical stabilization. Strong center sharpness. Attractive price point. Zoom locking mechanism. Includes tripod collar and hood. Available for multiple systems

Pincushion distortion throughout range. Focus can be a little slow. Some blurriness at edges unless stopped down

The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD ($1,069) is an intriguing lens for capturing nature, outdoor sports, and other distant action. It's compatible with full-frame cameras, although many shooters are likely to pair it with an APS-C body to enjoy...

Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD Review

The Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD is one of a select group of supertelephoto zooms for full frame SLRs that reaches or exceeds 400mm focal length, while still being reasonably portable. This type of lens is the tool of choice for small or...

Tamron SP 150-600 mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD

There are a lot of amateur lenses on the market with focal length starting from 50-100 mm and ending at 300 mm. Most of them are physically light, relatively small constructions. Unfortunately the 300 mm focal length remains usually their weakest point...

well-done casing ; excellent or very good image quality in the frame centre for all apertures and focal lengths ; correct performance on the edge of the APS-C/DX sensor ; low chromatic aberration ; no reservations concerning the spherical aberration...

weak performance against bright light ; a bit too high vignetting level on full frame

Tamron SP150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD

A super-telephoto lens with a 4x zoom range that is longer and wider and a better performer than the 200-500mm lens it replaces.

The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD would rate recommendation on the basis of its price alone, all other factors being equal. Its closest competitor is Sigma's 150-500mm f/5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM, which has a similar AF drive mechanism and optical...

Tamron SP 150-600 mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD

Premium buildquality, exceptional resolution, great colorreproduktion, and realy nice bokeh. Succesfull combination of portability and aparture. Great AF.Buy it witout hesitation if you need a portable wildlife, birding or even outdoor sports lens.

Unmatched zoomrange though providing superb picturequality. Sharp or sharper than my Nikkor 80-400 AF-S N in their equivalent range, and MUCH sharper than any Sigma I have tried in the 400-500 mm range. From 500-600 mm I can only compare it with my...

No meaningfull cons. Almost too inexpensive to be taken serious
