Manual focus only, the Mk II with AF more convenient. Limited focal range, so nearly more like a prime lens.

Nothing bad to say about the lens, colours aren't anything special compared to some good fixed nikon lenses, but nothing photoshop cant fix.

Not compatible with Nikon D5000.. the camera I own ! - ooops ! Now have to buy a new camera

really wide picture, great for tight spaces & architectural interiors.

got to be careful when focusing as it can look good on the camera & out of focus when you check pics on your computer. I guess practice makes perfect.

Built like a tank with excellent image quality @ all apertures,Only very slight vignetting when using pl filter @ the widest focal length,The manual focus system used by Tokina is very easy & quick to use - Highly Recommend
