It is supposed to be built in but does not come with fillers to cover the space above and below the appliance whereas the original NEFF microwave came with those.

the button to open the door is very stiff

No additional surround required (unlike previous models). Matches older preexisting Neff oven.

It didn't quite fit in the existing (standard) slot, had to make shims to slightly spread the cabinet. Supplied hinge spacers are flimsy and broke off making it even more difficult to fit. Steams up easily so have to open door to check food. Door...

Simple in use

Good design and in keeping with the other Neff apliances we have.

No remote timer, door opening button stiff to use.
