Good quality

I don't know how it works, but this blender does whatever I ask it too. If you want to chop ice, make sure it's in by itself otherwise it doesn't get chopped up as well. I use if for soups, smoothies, malts...mostly liquid ingredients I guess. Easy...

Blades stop turning

The blender is great for about a year or so after which, in my case, the blades stopped turning, The motor is fine, but the blades won't turn; they seem to be completely stuck and won't unstick even when I tried with pliers. I've taken good care of it,...

Easy to use and wash

The blades get rusty and stick so they won't turn any more

Hamilton Beach 50200 10-Speed BlendMaster Blender

Last summer I bought the Hamilton Beach 10 speed blend master blender. Previously I was using a Black and Decker one that broke from the years of use that it took. I chose this blender because it has so many options. Plus I like the style and look of...

Blending in with the 50200

It would be a fair to say that one wouldn't have high expectations for a $20 blender. One might expect to find cheap materials, shoddy craftsmanship, and an under-powered motor. However, the Hamilton Beach 50200MP Blendmaster 10-speed blender achieves...

Powerful motor, easy cleaning, reasonable price

It's 2008, time for you to get a new blender !

Yes, blenders tend to be somewhat similar in function, but some are better than others. I did some tests on this one after purchasing it, so I'll tell you the whole story of this blender.....

price, smoothie worthiness, seems rugged, glass jar

Yellow lid on white unit, short cord, 350 watts on lower end of units

";Blender number three"; is the proverbial charm (so far)!

Somewhat over one year ago, I went to Wal-Mart and purchased a deluxe Oster (brand) blender for between thirty and forty dollars. It had a nice, sizable glass (not plastic) jar--much like the jar of this much less costly Hamilton Beach model. The...

Price. Quiet, stable operation. GLASS jar. Ice-crushing capability. Easy disassembly
