We bought this for our second home, after using one in our primary residence for over a year. There is no other blender that can make smoothies as nice as ones produced with this machine. Nice big pitcher, easy clean-up and a solid, stable base.

I used it almost daily for smoothies, and cutting smaller amounts of vegetable. I use a food processor for larger amounts. It easy to clean.

i tried to blend small amount of beans and rice and because it doesnt have a slow start it shot most of it up to the top of the pitcher so i had to scrape everything back down, blend again, scrape everything down...I love it for making sorbet, blends...

The blender works great, but it could be stronger. I mainly use the blender to make smoothies and it has some trouble crushing the ice. The blade inside the blender does not look like it would last long.

I make my own salad dressings and no other blender shopped the shallots and garlic like this one.

I mostly use it to make protein shakes. It does a very good job but sometimes either ice or frozen fruit stays whole. It gets stock and is not able to crush the ice or frozen fruit.
