Mediocre Monitor

There's nothing really wrong with this monitor... it's just... cheap. If you can find it on sale and you need an inexpensive monitor to fill a need then by all means get this. Otherwise, there are larger, nicer monitors for, literally, a few dollars...

Good size ; Bright/Crisp Image ; Rear facing inputs ; HDMI and DVI inputs (cables included too) ; Thin

Clunky display controls ; Feels cheap

50/50

You can find 2k monitors for around the same price as this one so.... yeah.

The pros are that this is easy on the eyes, easy to set up, the response time is nice, and using this with a gaming console was a new experience. Normally I would buy Asus before Acer but this product is pretty solid and very easy to clean with a 50/50...

I bought this monitor in 2012 and it is still the exact same price in 2015 - seriously 1080p? I no longer game via consoles anymore so this is not an issue for me, but figuring out how to get sound out of my xbox was a pain as there are no built in...

what a Steal.

This delivers exactly as advertised and newegg had this bad boy on sale for $130 i should have bought 2 because now i want to run dual monitors and the cheapest i can find it is $170

i wish the monitor could tilt a bit more but that neither here nor there, i dont like where the power connector is located and the inputs i wish they were more centered, but thats not worth an egg i could that from the pictures

Decent monitor

Multiple inlets. VGA, DVI, HDMI and comes with a cord for each. Not much of a monitor snob so not much else I can say. It's performance to price to me is wonderful

Not very durable

Paid extra money for rush processing and 3 day shipping. Almost took an entire week to get to me just from Tennessee to Ohio. Now returning it, it says to return to origin address (Tennessee) but has me shipping to CA for $32?! This is the last time I...

Large Screen ; Light Weight ; All cables needed came with it

Black on white text looks horrible ; Start up takes a long time ; Stand is cheap and monitor wobbles ; No rotation and only minimal tilt ; Monitor never really shuts off all the way (amber light even when off)

Nice panel

Not bad for a TN panel. Seems to be holding up well.

The inputs face the REAR and not the BOTTOM! Nice. I wish more monitors had this design ; Panel looks good ; Plug and play with DVI-D

Very few adjustments ; Proprietary (?) power supply. Not a standard power cable, anyway ; Not a very competitive price

Talk about Plug and Play!

It supports 3 refresh rates: 50, 59 and 60 hertz for those who want to know. Definitely recommend this monitor and am seriously contemplating purchasing a second.

Of course monitors are plug and play, but this one was perfect from the get go. I forgot monitors had settings for the first 3 or so months of using this monitor. Just plug it in and experience perfect picture quality with no dead pixels. I've had this...

Perfect

I have a previous model of this same line Acer 23" HD monitor. Haven't had any problems with it in the 2 years I've had it, so I bought this one to (almost perfectly) match my existing monitor. Soon I will be buying a 3rd one so I can complete my...

Great Picture, Low Price, 1080p

Quality!

I want to get another one for some epic 1080p Dual Monitor Action!

1080p 23" Monitor for Less than $200? Sold ; Monitor is nice and Thin, Sturdy ; You'll have to put the base together, but it is not that difficult ; Made of Steel! Base is nice and Weighted ; Does not seem that flimsy ; This is a 1080p Monitor ; Which...

Wouldn't really say this was a Con, but it did look like it came in a used box, [no shipping box, just the Acer Box] but the Monitor is 100% new and functioning

Great Monitor

Start up time is based on its energy saving so I get it, FOR THE TREES!

Its pretty great, I use it for gaming and such. Can't really give a detailed explanation on it's clarity, but for someone who works by looking at screens all day, this is nice on the eyes. Well built and had had have zero problems

Only con I would say is start up time, but it's honestly negligible ; Dual screened it next to an old Dell monitor with no HD capabilities, the dell wins on start up by about 2 seconds
